Bystander Intervention
Franklin Pierce University empowers all of its community to intervene in situations that do not meet the standards that we have set for ourselves. Intervening can mean physically stepping in, educating an individual on why what they have done/said is not acceptable or calling for support.
What is Bystander Intervention?
Bystander intervention is a strategy for the prevention or addressing of various types of violence, including but not limited to bullying, sexual harassment, sexual assault, hate speech, destruction of property and physical violence.
